Do you know what they go through?
The street ‘outcasts” are slaves to their own addictions. They are homeless and their families do not want to have anything to do with them. They wander along the streets aimlessly with a rejected and broken spirit and sometimes wondered why they were born in the first place. They are despised by society, disowned by their families, deprived of love and kindness, disposable in the eyes of the public. Their dignity is destroyed, their will to live, defeated. These people deserve a second chance! Give them a second chance to life. Tell them they are destined for eternity and give them the courage to believe it.
His HIVEs Street Ministry is a relief service started by a group of christians from different churches who have a burden for caring and feeding the vagrants and street people. It is an outreach work on every Saturday afternoons, from 2.00 – 3.00pm, in the heart of the busy commercial city of Kuala Lumpur.
His HIVEs’ volunteers distribute food and drinks, sit to listen to them or provide medical aid to their wounds.
