Hoi San & wife<\/p><\/div>\n

Hoi San<\/strong> spoke in fluent Cantonese. Raised in a family which the father had four wives, Hoi San grew up with 19 or 20 siblings<\/em> in Pudu. Known as the half<\/em> jungle<\/em> by the Chinese, Pudu was notorious in 1970s as a ‘black area’ for crimes.<\/p>\n

“Living in such an environment, you got to have background<\/em>. If you were unprotected, you could get beaten up anytime without knowing why,” Hoi San said.<\/p>\n

Hoi San joined the underworld so that no one could lay a finger on him. Yet, in a gangster feud, he was brutally slashed at the hand, losing half of his right index finger. Gangsterism also introduced him to all types of vices: theft, robbery and drug addiction.<\/p>\n

“It all started when I was young. I thought smoking was cool,” he said smiling. “Later, out of curiosity, I played drugs, but at the end they played me out.”<\/p>\n

He spent 8 years in Kajang jail for multiple charges involving robbery, theft and drugs possessions. A few police officers came to his house one day and nabbed him after receiving tip-off from family members who couldn\u2019t tolerate his addictive behavior. Hoi San\u2019s addiction also cost him his relationship with his girlfriend. He was a singer then, singing in pubs and nightclubs.<\/p>\n

“She knew I was an addict. But she thought her love could change me. We had a daughter. One day, my girlfriend realized that she could not change me anymore. She left me and took our daughter with her too,” he said.<\/p>\n

After being released from prison, Hoi San wanted to kick the habit. He sought help from Christian Rehab Centers.<\/p>\n

“I was still young and immature then. After I completed a rehab program, not for long, I went back to the old ways again. So, I ended up moving from one centre to another for about 10 times!” he said with a hearty laugh.<\/p>\n

Then, with the recommendation from a Malaysian Care worker, Hoi San came to Kenosis Home. But things went well this time for him. With counseling and mentoring , Hoi San began to have a sense of purpose in his life.<\/p>\n

Hoi San has an\u00a0ambition. “I want to sing for the Lord. Music ministry may be something that I can work on after I graduate from Bible school,” he said enthusiastically.<\/p>\n

Two things we can thank God for \u2013 First, God has given Hoi San a great voice and secondly, He has spared Hoi San\u2019s left index finger so that he can still play the guitar and sing today.<\/p>\n

(Hoi San who has completed his studies with the Bible College of Malaysia is now serving as a singing evangelist. His recovery story of hope has now given him a renewed relationship with family and a new found purpose & life in Christ.)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u6d77\u5c71\u80fd\u8bf4\u4e00\u53e3\u6d41\u5229\u7684\u5e7f\u4e1c\u8bdd\uff0c\u4ed6\u81ea\u7136\u4ece\u5bb9\u7684\u8ba9\u6211\u62cd\u6444\uff0c\u4e14\u5f90\u800c\u4e0d\u53ca\u5730\u5411\u6211\u5230\u5904\u4ed6\u7684\u8fc7\u53bb\u3002\u6d77\u5c71\u7684\u7236\u4eb2\u6709\u56db\u4e2a\u8001\u5a46\uff0c\u4ed6\u5728\u5bcc\u90fd\u4e0e\u4e3a\u657019\u621620\u4e2a\u5144\u5f1f\u59d0\u59b9\u4e00\u8d77\u957f\u5927\u3002\u5bcc\u90fd\uff0c\u4e2d\u6587\u53c8\u79f0\u201c\u534a\u5c71\u82ad\u201d\u572870\u5e74\u4ee3\u53ef\u662f\u6076\u540d\u662d\u5f70\u7684\u72af\u7f6a\u9ed1\u533a\u3002<\/p>\n

\u201c\u5728\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u73af\u5883\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u4f60\u5fc5\u987b\u8981\u6709\u201c\u80cc\u666f\u201d\u3002\u82e5\u6ca1\u6709\u201c\u53d7\u4fdd\u62a4\u201d\uff0c\u53ef\u80fd\u88ab\u4eba\u6253\u4e5f\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u539f\u6545\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n

\u6d77\u5c71\u52a0\u5165\u9ed1\u793e\u4f1a\u540e\uff0c\u4ee5\u81f4\u6ca1\u6709\u4eba\u6562\u78b0\u4ed6\u534a\u6761\u6c57\u6bdb\u3002\u53ef\u662f\uff0c\u518d\u4e00\u6b21\u7684\u9ed1\u793e\u4f1a\u6bb4\u6597\u91cc\uff0c\u4ed6\u88ab\u72e0\u72e0\u7684\u780d\u4e2d\u624b\u81c2\uff0c\u5e76\u5931\u53bb\u53f3\u98df\u6307\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5728\u9ed1\u793e\u4f1a\u7684\u8bef\u5bfc\u9a71\u4f7f\u4e0b\uff0c\u4ed6\u5815\u5165\u72af\u7f6a\u7684\u6df1\u6e0a\uff0c\u6d89\u53ca\u5077\u7a83\uff0c\u62a2\u52ab\u53ca\u5438\u6bd2\u3002\u201c\u5f53\u65f6\u7684\u6211\u8fd8\u5f88\u5e74\u8f7b\uff0c\u8fd8\u4ee5\u4e3a\u5438\u70df\u770b\u8d77\u6765\u597d\u9177\u3002\u201d\u4ed6\u5fae\u7b11\u7740\u8bf4\u3002<\/p>\n

\u6211\u5f00\u59cb\u5c1d\u8bd5\u6bd2\u54c1\u8fd9\u201c\u73a9\u610f\u513f\u201d\uff0c\u4f46\u5230\u5934\u6765\u53cd\u88ab\u6bd2\u54c1\u73a9\u5f04\u3002\u201d<\/p>\n

\u591a\u5b97\u6d89\u53ca\u62a2\u52ab\uff0c\u5077\u7a83\u53ca\u85cf\u6bd2\u63a7\u7f6a\u4ee4\u4ed6\u5728\u52a0\u592e\u76d1\u72f1\u670d\u5211\u516b\u5e74\u3002\u4ed6\u7684\u5bb6\u4eba\u56e0\u65e0\u6cd5\u5fcd\u53d7\u4ed6\u7ec8\u65e5\u6c89\u6eba\u6bd2\u6d77\u7684\u6240\u4f5c\u6240\u4e3a\uff0c\u800c\u5411\u8b66\u65b9\u6295\u62a5\uff0c\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u6570\u540d\u8b66\u5458\u4e0a\u95e8\u628a\u6d77\u5c71\u902e\u6355\u5f52\u6848\u3002<\/p>\n

\u4e4b\u540e\uff0c\u5728Malaysian Care\u5458\u5de5\u7684\u63a8\u8350\u4e0b\uff0c\u6d77\u5c71\u6765\u5230\u865a\u5df1\u4e4b\u5bb6\uff0c\u8fd9\u6b21\uff0c\u6212\u6bd2\u7597\u7a0b\u4e00\u5207\u90fd\u5f88\u987a\u5229\uff0c\u5728\u00a0Bob Leong \u7684\u8f85\u5bfc\u53ca\u6307\u5bfc\u4e0b\uff0c\u6d77\u5c71\u5f00\u59cb\u4e86\u89e3\u6d3b\u7740\u7684\u76ee\u7684\u3002<\/p>\n

\u5728SIB\uff08KL\uff09\u7684\u8d5e\u52a9\u4e0b\uff0c\u6d77\u5c71\u5728\u795e\u5b66\u9662\u8fdb\u4fee\uff0c\u4e14\u6000\u6709\u53e6\u4e00\u5fd7\u5411\uff0c\u201c\u6211\u8981\u6b4c\u9882\u8d5e\u7f8e\u4e3b\u3002 \u97f3\u4e50\u4e8b\u5949\u53ef\u80fd\u6211\u6bd5\u4e1a\u540e\u4f1a\u53c2\u4e0e\u7684\u3002\u201d\u5979\u6ee1\u8154\u70ed\u8bda\u7684\u8bf4\uff0c\u624b\u4e2d\u63e1\u7740\u5409\u4ed6\uff0c\u4ed6\u5531\u8d77\u51e0\u9996\u6700\u7231\u7684\u5723\u8bd7\uff0c\u4efb\u7531\u6211\u62cd\u7167\u3002<\/p>\n
