Struggling with drug addiction<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

\"\"<\/a>I entered a Christian drug rehabilitation centre with a broken heart and a hopeless future and life.\u00a0 It was there that God healed, changed, called & accepted me.<\/p>\n

After having addicted to heroin for more than twenty years , I was arrested and put into jail and also in the government run drug rehabilitation centre.\u00a0 My life was spent living in darkness and sadness.\u00a0 I was looked down, rejected and despised by the society.\u00a0 Every night, I would carry carton boxes and look for places to sleep in the streets.\u00a0 I have slept in broken houses and back lanes in the city.\u00a0 When it rained, I would walk to corridors of shops waiting for them to close their business after ten o\u2019clock at night so that I could sleep. \u00a0The next morning, I would pack up , keep my carton box and leave early before six o\u2019clock. \u00a0I have lived a vagrant life like this for many years. When I could find a job, I would work to earn some money to satisfy my needs.\u00a0 If I could not, I would then rob, steal or sell drugs and become a slave to drugs!<\/p>\n

Once, I fell from the height of ten feet during my work and injured my legs.\u00a0 I did not bother about it at that time because it did not cause me much pain.\u00a0 Gradually, my health deteriorated and I found it difficult to walk and lift my right leg. I faced many difficulties in surviving and needed to depend on crutches to walk. \u00a0One day, I met a christian friend who introduced me to Kenosis Home, a Christian drug rehabilitation centre in Kuala Lumpur.<\/p>\n

A new life<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I entered Kenosis Home I was depressed and felt life was hopeless . I had my operation done twice on my leg but these were not successful. Life was miserable each day in the centre without much improvement, until one day, I read a book of testimonies (written more than ten years ago) that touched me and changed my life.\u00a0 The testimonies and words in the book encouraged me greatly. Though I was physically disabled on the wheelchair at that time, I felt my life was \u2018not disabled\u2019. I thought to myself, \u201cIf others who are physically worse than me can live happy and meaningful lives, why couldn\u2019t I?!\u201d<\/p>\n

When I began to reflect more about life, I began to gradually walk out of the bondages of darkness and sin.\u00a0 I began to move on with hope.\u00a0 I read the bible, prayed and got to know God and Jesus Christ more each day.\u00a0 My perspectives, \u00a0and values of\u00a0 life \u00a0begin to change.\u00a0 I was no longer lost but gained joy, hope and courage to face the days ahead.\u00a0 God healed me of my inner being gradually by giving me breakthroughs, set me free from the inner bondages of sin.\u00a0 God has blessed me today with a life partner and a daughter.\u00a0 I am very grateful to Him!<\/p>\n

After having completed the program with Kenosis, I decided to stay back in the center to serve God!\u00a0 I am now very much involved with Street Feeding ministries that help to distribute food to the needy. I have also spoken and shared in forums and Drug Awareness campaign to youths in schools.<\/p>\n


\n~ Lew Koon Fook~<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Lew Koon Fook or \u2018Ah Lew\u2019<\/strong> (as his friends fondly calls him) walks with a limp today but he\u00a0is able to serve and go about in his work with much joy and strength from God. \u00a0He is thankful to God for giving him a new lease of life when he found and trusted Jesus in 2002. He is currently a staff with Kenosis<\/strong> Home and has been serving faithfully for the past 10 years.)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u5728\u5438\u6bd2\u82e6\u6d77\u91cc\u6323\u624e<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u6211\u5e26\u7740\u4e00\u4e2a\u5f88\u7834\u788e\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u548c\u65e0\u76fc\u671b\u7684\u4eba\u751f,\u00a0 \u66f4\u52a0\u6ca1\u6709\u5c06\u6765,\u00a0 \u8fdb\u5165\u4e86\u798f\u97f3\u7684\u6212\u6bd2\u6240\u4f11\u517b.\u00a0 \u5728\u6212\u6bd2\u6240, \u795e\u533b\u6cbb, \u6539\u53d8, \u547c\u53ec\u548c\u63a5\u7eb3\u4e86\u6211.<\/p>\n

\u6211\u67d3\u4e0a\u4e0d\u597d\u7684\u4e60\u60ef,\u00a0 \u5c31\u662f\u5438\u6bd2\u6d77\u6d1b\u56e0.\u00a0 \u6211\u5750\u8fc7\u76d1\u72f1\u4e5f\u8fdb\u8fc7\u653f\u5e9c\u6212\u6bd2\u6240.\u00a0 \u6211\u5728\u6bd2\u6d77\u6f02\u6d6e\u4e86\u4e8c\u5341\u51e0\u5e74,\u00a0 \u76f8\u5f53\u957f\u5815\u843d\u7684\u65e5\u5b50.\u00a0 \u5f53\u65f6\u6211\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u5f88\u9ed1\u6697, \u4e5f\u5f88\u60b2\u54c0.\u00a0 \u8fd9\u79cd\u751f\u6d3b\u662f\u79bb\u7fa4\u7684, \u88ab\u793e\u4f1a\u62d2\u7edd\u548c\u770b\u4e0d\u8d77.\u00a0 \u6bcf\u665a\u6211\u90fd\u662f\u9732\u5bbf\u8857\u5934, \u624b\u4e0a\u62ff\u7740\u7eb8\u7bb1\u76ae\u5230\u5904\u627e\u5730\u65b9\u7761\u89c9.\u00a0 \u6709\u4e9b\u7834\u70c2\u7684\u5c4b\u4e5f\u662f\u6211\u7761\u7684\u5730\u65b9\uff0c\u5728\u57ce\u5e02\u7684\u5c0f\u5df7\u4e5f\u662f\u6211\u7761\u7684\u5730\u65b9. \u4e0b\u96e8\u65f6, \u6211\u5c31\u8981\u8d70\u5230\u4eba\u5bb6\u6446\u644a\u53e3\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u6321\u98ce\u96e8.\u00a0 \u6709\u65f6\u627e\u4e0d\u5230\u644a\u53e3\u5c31\u53bb\u5e97\u94fa\u524d\u9762\u5927\u95e8\u7761.\u00a0 \u6bcf\u665a\u8981\u8d85\u8fc7\u5341\u70b9\u4ee5\u4e0a\u624d\u80fd\u53bb\u627e\u5730\u65b9\u7761\u89c9, \u56e0\u4e3a\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u644a\u53e3\u548c\u5e97\u94fa\u8981\u5230\u665a\u4e0a\u5341\u70b9\u624d\u6536\u644a.\u00a0 \u65e9\u4e0a\u516d\u70b9, \u6211\u5c31\u6536\u7eb8\u7bb1\u76ae\u8d70\u4eba\uff0c\u628a\u7eb8\u7bb1\u76ae\u6536\u85cf\u597d\u665a\u4e0a\u53c8\u7528.\u00a0 \u6211\u6bcf\u5929\u665a\u4e0a\u90fd\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\u8fc7\u751f\u6d3b\uff01\u65e9\u4e0a\u5fd9\u7740\u627e\u94b1\u6765\u6ee1\u8db3\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u9700\u8981\uff0c\u6709\u5de5\u4f5c\u5c31\u505a,\u00a0 \u6ca1\u6709\u5de5\u4f5c\u5c31\u53bb\u62a2\u6216\u8005\u5077\u548c\u8d29\u5356\u6bd2\u54c1.\u00a0 \u6211\u5c31\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u53d8\u6210\u4e86\u6bd2\u54c1\u5974\u96b6\u3002<\/p>\n

\u6709\u4e00\u6b21\u5de5\u4f5c\u65f6,\u00a0 \u6211\u4e0d\u5c0f\u5fc3\u4ece\u5341\u5c3a\u9ad8\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u8dcc\u4e0b\u6765, \u4f24\u5230\u795e\u7ecf\u7ebf.\u00a0 \u5f53\u65f6\u89c9\u5f97\u65e0\u4e8b, \u5c31\u4e0d\u53bb\u7406.\u00a0 \u65f6\u95f4\u4e00\u65e5\u4e00\u65e5\u8fc7\u53bb,\u00a0 \u6211\u7684\u8eab\u4f53\u5f00\u59cb\u89c9\u5f97\u8d8a\u6765\u8d8a\u5dee, \u884c\u8def\u8d8a\u6765\u8d8a\u8f9b\u82e6, \u60f3\u62ff\u9ad8\u53f3\u811a\u90fd\u5f88\u8270\u96be.\u00a0 \u8fd9\u65f6, \u751f\u6d3b\u5f00\u59cb\u6709\u95ee\u9898, \u627e\u4e0d\u5230\u5403\u4e86, \u884c\u8def\u5f00\u59cb\u8981\u9760\u62d0\u6756.\u00a0 \u6211\u9762\u5bf9\u66f4\u52a0\u8270\u96be\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u56f0\u5883.\u00a0 \u6709\u4e00\u65e5, \u6211\u9047\u5230\u4e00\u4f4d\u5f1f\u5144,\u00a0 \u4ecb\u7ecd\u6211\u8fdb\u5165\u798f\u97f3\u6212\u6bd2\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff08\u865a\u5df1\u4e4b\u5bb6\uff09\uff01<\/p>\n

\u6539\u53d8\u751f\u547d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u5728\u6212\u6bd2\u4e2d\u5fc3, \u6211\u4ecd\u7136\u5e26\u7740\u4e00\u4e2a\u6ca1\u76fc\u671b\u548c\u81ea\u5351\u7684\u5fc3\u6765\u5ea6\u8fc7\u65e5\u5b50. \u6211\u4e5f\u52a8\u8fc7\u4e24\u6b21\u624b\u672f, \u90fd\u4e0d\u662f\u5f88\u7406\u60f3.\u00a0 \u8fd9\u4f7f\u5230\u6211\u7684\u5fc3\u60c5\u5f88\u4f4e\u843d\uff0c\u4e5f\u6ca1\u6709\u559c\u4e50\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\uff0c\u53ea\u662f\u5728\u6212\u6bd2\u4e2d\u5fc3\u8fc7\u65e5\u5b50\u800c\u5df2\uff0c\u6ca1\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u6539\u53d8\uff01<\/p>\n

\u6709\u4e00\u6b21, \u6211\u8bfb\u5230\u4e00\u672c\u89c1\u8bc1\u4e66\u7c4d, \u662f\u5728\u5341\u4e00\u5e74\u524d\u5199\u7684.\u00a0 \u4e66\u7684\u5185\u5bb9\u5f88\u5438\u5f15\u6211.\u00a0 \u4e66\u7684\u8fd9\u4e00\u53e5\u8bdd\uff08\u867d\u7136\u6211\u5ea7\u8f6e\u6905, \u6211\u6b8b, \u4f46\u662f\u6211\u6ca1\u6709\u5e9f\uff09\u7ed9\u6211\u5f88\u5927\u7684\u9f13\u52b1. \u00a0 \u6211\u60f3\u4eba\u5bb6\u6bd4\u6211\u66f4\u6b8b,\u00a0 \u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u8fd9\u4e48\u5f00\u5fc3, \u505a\u6709\u610f\u4e49\u7684\u4e8b\uff0c\u6211\u4f55\u82e6\u8fd9\u4e48\u4e0d\u5f00\u5fc3\uff01<\/p>\n

\u5f53\u6211\u6709\u4e86\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u60f3\u6cd5,\u00a0 \u5c31\u5f00\u59cb\u6162\u6162\u8d70\u51fa\u9ed1\u6697\u7684\u6346\u7ed1,\u00a0 \u8131\u79bb\u4e0d\u597d\u7684\u601d\u60f3,\u00a0 \u79ef\u6781\u5411\u524d\u884c.\u00a0 \u6211\u5f00\u59cb\u8bfb\u5723\u7ecf\u7948\u7977,\u00a0 \u8ba4\u8bc6\u795e.\u00a0 \u8ba4\u8bc6\u8036\u7a23. \u5f53\u6211 \u8d8a\u8ba4\u8bc6\u8036\u7a23,\u00a0 \u6211\u7684\u4eba\u751f\u4ef7\u503c\u89c2\u548c\u770b\u6cd5\u5c31\u8d8a\u4e0d\u540c,\u00a0 \u4e0d\u4f1a\u518d\u6709\u81ea\u5351,\u00a0 \u77e5\u9053\u81ea\u5df1\u6709\u76fc\u671b.\u00a0 \u6162\u6162\u7684\u795e\u5c31\u533b\u6cbb\u4e86\u6211\u7684\u5fc3\u7075. \u00a0 \u73b0\u5728, \u795e\u7ed9\u4e86\u6211\u52c7\u6562\u7684\u5fc3\u53bb\u9762\u5bf9\u524d\u9762\u7684\u6311\u6218\u548c\u8def\u7a0b.\u00a0 \u795e\u7ed9\u6211\u7a81\u7834\u7684\u751f\u547d\uff0c\u51b2\u7834\u5185\u5fc3\u7684\u6346\u7ed1\uff0c\u5954\u5411\u559c\u4e50\u7684\u751f\u547d.\u00a0 \u795e\u4e5f\u8d50\u6211\u4f34\u4fa3\u548c\u5343\u91d1. \u6211\u5f88\u611f\u6069\uff01<\/p>\n
